Andrew R. McCloskey is a founding partner of McCloskey, Waring & Waisman LLP, a California based law firm with offices in San Diego and Los Angeles. Mr. McCloskey’s practice focuses on advising and representing insurance companies with respect to general insurance coverage and bad faith. Mr. McCloskey has handled numerous complex insurance coverage matters, including litigated and non-litigated claims involving environmental, asbestos non-products, construction delay, construction defect, personal injury, advertising injury, bad faith defense and other insurance-related issues.
Mr. McCloskey is a member of the California and Nevada bars and has appeared pro hac vice in Florida, Hawaii, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin. He is admitted to practice in numerous appellate and federal courts throughout the country and is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. McCloskey received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut and is a cum laude graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law.
